Currently, we are seeking a Regional Art Coordinator (RAC) to join our Corporate Solutions team in Richmond, VA. The RAC will support multiple areas of a Corporate Art Program seated within a fast-paced commercial real estate environment that has National coverage. Areas include art collection management, exhibition coordination, invoice processing, financial reporting on budgets, database entry & management, work order management, and supporting projects. This position will be based at the Client's corporate campus. The JLL Integrated Facilities Management team provides end-to-end management services with the use of dynamic real-time project management software platforms.The RAC will be part of an art management team composed of a National Lead, Project Manager, and Project Coordinators working as an integrated team with other JLL Service Providers in Facility Management, Project Management, Space Planning and Move Management.
Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions
- Receive art related work orders and coordinate vendors to fully complete requests.
- Manage art engagement programming and art education experiences within the region through selected local art curators and partners.
- Process invoices from multiple vendors who provide goods or services.
- Create accurate and timely monthly reporting for the operational and project budgets through dashboards, charts, and other tools.
- Perform data entry and record keeping of all collection pieces within the region.
- Maintain tracking and conservation for all pieces in the corporate art collection which includes interaction with outside vendors.
- Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting Client and Corporate Art Program goals in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Support art acquisition projects throughout a building project life cycle (Initiate, Plan, Design, Construct and Project Close).
- Provide project management support in accordance with the guidelines established by the Project Management Office.
- Comply with all Jones Lang LaSalle policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
- At least 3 - 5 years practical experience and advanced knowledge in curation, art education, or fine art collection management required.
- Experience and basic knowledge in professional art handling and art conservation in multiple types of media preferred.
- Experience or basic knowledge of project management, construction management or real estate preferred.
- Practical experience in invoice processing and/or book keeping in a project administration/accounting position preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients.
- Detail oriented and highly organized with strong analytical skills. Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently.
- Proficiency with Google Suite programs and social media platforms required.
- Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Museum Studies, Art History, Art Education, or Studio Art strongly preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Occasionally working with and overseeing student interns.
Working Environment:
- The Regional Art Coordinator shall office at the Client's corporate campus and will be part of an Integrated Team consisting of approximately 6+ people. Daily interaction with the Client and other internal stakeholders is expected and part of the synergies resulting from this environment.
